Niatain by Metagenics is designed to aid in supporting healthy lipid metabolism by supplying 500 mg of Niacin (as nicotinic acid) in each tablet. This high quality, extended release form of niacin is intended to reduce the potential of flushing typically associated with the intake of niacin. This nutritional supplement is formulated with a vegetable source, non-wax coating for effective dissolution.*
Recommendation:
Metagenics suggests taking one tablet with a meal one to two times daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose , stearic acid (vegetable), silica, and coating (water, hypromellose , medium chain triglycerides, and hydroxypropylcellulose ).
Niacin use may be associated with itching and/or flushing.
Caution: Do not use this product if pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have a history of gout or liver dysfunction. Larger than recommended doses of niacin have been associated with liver dysfunction. If taking cholesterol lowering medications, please discuss with your clinician prior to use.
