Pregnenolone is an endogenous steroid and precursor/metabolic intermediate in the biosynthesis of most of the steroid hormones, including the progestogens, androgens, estrogens, glucocorticoids, and mineralocorticoids. In addition, pregnenolone is biologically active as a neurosteroid. Pregnenolone levels drop dramatically after age 30. Research indicates that restoration of pregnenolone to the levels of healthy young adults may have a positive effect on memory, mood, and energy.* 

 

Recommendation: SFI Health suggests taking  1-2 Pregnenolone 100mg capsules per day at bedtime or early morning.
