DHEA 5mg is a supplement containing 5mg of DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone), an organic steroid hormone chemically similar to testosterone and estrogen. DHEA is manufactured from cholesterol found in the adrenal glands, and is easily converted into other hormones. The creation of DHEA in the body tops out during early adulthood and continuously diminishes with age, therefore health issues that can be attributed to age may also be attributed to low levels of DHEA. DHEA levels are also found to be low where there is adrenal insufficiency.*
Dosage: Biotics Research recommends one (1)
DHEA 5mg tablet daily as a dietary supplement or as otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.
