Gastrazyme is a dietary supplement from Biotics Research Corporation that offers specific nutrients including chlorophyllins, vitamin U complex and vitamin A, ingredients all known to be supplemental to the health of the GI tract, which may become stressed due to average, everyday factors. Early studies recognized that the potency of raw cabbage juice in normalizing intestinal and gastric function. Methionine and glutamine derivatives present are believed to be the active principles. Attention has been focused on methionine S-methylsulfonium (MMS) in the chlorinated form. MMS occurs in a variety of vegetables and fruits, such as cabbage. Studies have shown that MMS supports the regular healing process of the stomach following exposure to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents (NSAIDs). In the past, this compound has been designated as Vitamin U , even though it doesn t meet the usual definition of a vitamin.*

Dosage:
Biotics Research recommends one (1) Gastrazyme tablet three (3) times daily as a dietary supplement or as otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.

Biotics Research Gastrazyme Active Ingredients:
Vitamin A (as natural mixed carotenoids and palmitate), Gamma Oryzanol (from rice), Chlorophyllins (from Mulberry leaf), Vitamin U Complex (as DL-Methionine methylsulfonium chloride), Superoxide Dismutase (from vegetable culture ), Catalase (from vegetable culture ). Specially grown, biologically active vegetable culture containing naturally associated phytochemicals including polyphenolic compounds with SOD and catalase, dehydrated at low temperature to preserve associated enzyme factors.

Other Ingredients:
Cellulose, modified cellulose gum, silica and magnesium stearate (vegetable source). This Biotics Research product is gluten and dairy free.
