L-Tyrosine is a dietary supplement from Biotics Research. L-Tyrosine is considered an "essential" amino acid, simply because occasionally there are situations where the body cannot create enough to fulfill physiological needs. Tyrosine is essential for the production of the catecholamines, including dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine. Tyrosine is involved in the creation of stress hormones epinephrine and norepinephrine, and during stress the body may not be able to produce enough tyrosine from phenylalanine to meet dietary needs. It is also a contributor in the function of organs in charge of regulating and making hormones, including the thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary glands. Dosage:
Biotics Research recommends one (1) L-Tyrosine capsule three (3) times daily as a dietary supplement or as otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.
