Vitamin A + Carotenoids by Pure Encapsulations provides vitamin A to support cellular, immune and ocular function, with with lutein, zeaxanthin, and astaxanthin (carotenoids) for retinal and macular health. Vitamin A is vital to the healthy function of several biological processes, including growth, vision, the body's system of defense and reproductive function. This formulas blend of lutein, zeaxanthin and astaxanthin are included to support macular health. The two carotenoids, lutein and zeaxanthin, are found in macular pigment and act to aid in supporting the density and integrity of the pigment, as well as the health of the optical lens.
